If your worried about how apple can create an image of your contacts then you should of stopped using apple products when they introduced faces or people in iphoto.

I have a panasonic hc-v785. It has a hdr setting just by pressing it. Whats your thoughts on it? You make it sound a lot more complicated than by pressing a 1 button. Am i getting jipped?

OK so I own one and bought it for TWO reasons 1) as interpreter at my store (lots of spanish speaking customers) and it works great not having to read a screen after someone slowly types a message to translate 2) I use it to snap a photo of 2nd hand items coming into my store to get a recommended price and again it works GREAT. For those two reasons it is not a scam since it does have a product that they ship to you and it does what it claims, although not as good as you would like. But it actually is a nice AI assistant that I dont have to fumble with my phone when trying to get certain types of info. NOW FOR THE DOWNSIDE... battery life is terrible but everyone knows that already. It STAYS hot even when not doing anything and burns through a battery every couple hours but I have battery charging in car so not that bad. The ONE THING that drives me crazy is NOT swapping out battery constantly but having to enter PASSCODE every freaking time I swap a battery!!! It is frustrating trying to get the password just right on my hand and making the number STAY in place while I move my fingers to select. ALSO it freaking asks for a password ALOT even when not swapping the battery like when I am driving and with the movement of the car and the sun renders it almost unusable while driving because half the time it asks me for passcode to continue. I assume if not asking it something for 20 or 30 minutes automatically makes it ask? I dont know but they need to allow you to turn the passcode OFF. I mean if someone steals it you can deactivate it on your homepage so it should be an option to use passcode or not.

I actually disagree about the iJustine interview. You’re being unfair. She’s not The Verge. I watched the interview and it did not seem rehearsed or coached. The interview was very on brand for iJustine. That’s how she interviews other people. Her strength is not looking for “dirt” or trying to get her interviewees to confess to wrongdoing. Her reviews are generally similar, she talks about the tech, gives use cases and might get a little into process. IJustine rarely gets into the “motivations” or speculations of why. Like Brian, I think of his style as always trying to get “the scoop” or “you heard it here first” story. Marques is different than the both of them and goes deeply into the tech and brand positioning.

This machine is extremely expensive... yeah it's nice but it's also pretty heavy and a lot of money especially with applecare. I would consider buying one if it were 2 lbs or less but the current 2.7 inch is pretty heavy honestly

Suzuki street magic with 180cc 2 stroke engine would be faster cheaper en way easier to use just put gas in it en drive cost would be around 1500-3000 euro

I decided to take out the LED, slap a headsink on it and a secondary vapor chamber and an aluminum backplate. Better thermals that way and no power being wasted on a pretty light that I wasn't using anyway.

The fact that Apple Intelligence doesn’t come even to the vanilla iPhone 15 with a one year old chip, is a bit disconcerting. Is it that the A16 is really that underpowered? Or there is not enough RAM or storage space? Or they want people to upgrade to the 15 pro or the iPhone 16 with the A17 (non-pro)? Or maybe they are going to allow access at a later date once the models have been further optimized and can run on slightly older hardware? I can see Owners of iPhone 15 not being happy about being excluded from Apple Intelligence.
